Stabbing Victim Drives Himself to St. Luke’s Hospital

A New Bedford man suffering from a severe stab wound is being treated in Rhode Island Hospital.

New Bedford Police tell WBSM News the unidentified man drove himself to St. Luke's Hospital around 10:20pm Monday night. The man was suffering from a deep laceration to his right arm and head trauma, had lost a significant amount of blood. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

His car was towed to a city police station for processing.

Police are investigating the circumstances behind his injuries.
