Stabbing Suspect Found To Be “Dangerous,” Ordered Held Without Bail

A Judge in New Bedford District Court has declared a city man "a danger to the community."  33 year old Chad Dargis appeared in court Friday for a dangerousness hearing.  He was arrested last Sunday following a stabbing incident at Club 908 Downtown.  According to Police, Dargis stabbed another man twice in the chest and once in the hand, and also slashed his face.  The victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital and later released.  Police say they also found drugs and cash in Dargis' apartment.  A spokesman for the District Attorney says Dargis will be held for the next 90 days without bail.
