Stabbing In Jillian’s Parking Lot

Somerset Police are investigating after a Sunday night stabbing.

Police say the stabbing took place around 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Jillian's Sports Bar.

It's believed the stabbing may have been the result of an illegal drug transaction that started at the Shell station across the street.

A fight took place after the suspect was pursued by some individuals.

One of the suspects was also injured during the fight.

Police say they have identified one of the suspects and that the victim is known to police.

Surveillance footage is being reviewed and the incident remains under investigation.
