Sox Lead Tampa by a Game-and-a-Half WBSM Tuesday Sports (AUDIO)

The Red Sox are back home tonight to host the Orioles in the first of a three-game series. Felix Doubront will get the start. The Sox got some help from Kansas City last night as they clobbered Tampa Bay. Boston has a game-and-a-half lead in the AL East. WBSM Pregame time is 6:25pm.

The Patriots are preparing for their final preseason tune up. They will host the Giants Thursday at Gillette Stadium.

The NFL Players Association is coming to the defense of Aaron Hernandez. ESPN reports the union has filed a grievance against the Pats on behalf of Hernandez seeking $82,000 in workout bonuses from his contract. The contract was terminated after Hernandez was arrested and charged with murder.

Single-game tickets for Bruins home games are going on sale next week. Tickets can be purchased beginning Friday, September 6th at 11am through the team's official website, mobile app or the TD Garden Box Office. The Bruins open the regular season Oct 3rd at home against Tampa Bay.
