Southcoast Well Represented In Mass. GOP Delegation
August 24, 2012 8:24 PM The Massachusetts delegation at next week’s Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida could enjoy an enhanced role because it represents the state where presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney served as Governor.
All 41 delegates and 38 alternates back the Romney-Ryan ticket. Bristol County Sheriff Tom Hodgson is a convention delegate.

It will be the first national convention for Republican State Committeeman Brock Cordeiro of Dartmouth.

Cordeiro feels the November election will be close, but he’s hoping Romney will come out a winner.
