Two Southcoast residents have a million reasons to smile after a second chance lottery win.

Massachusetts State Lottery officials say Denis Provost of Assonet and Pamela Tetreault of Plainville are the two one million dollar prize winners in the Second Chance Drawing #2 in the "Supreme Millions" instant game.

Provost and Tetrault were chosen from among more than one million people who submitted their non-winning tickets through the Lottery's website.

Both Provost and Tetrault chose to receive a one-time payment of $650,000, before taxes.

Provost says he plans to use the money to buy a home.

Tetrault says she is also interested in buying a home, but also wants to put some money aside for a family vacation.
