Southcoast Health Issues Statement On Janine Arsenault

Southcoast Health spokesperson Peter Cohenno has issued the following statement on the passing of Janine Arsenault, who worked as a technician at St. Luke’s Hospital and was killed in a Sunday afternoon motorcycle accident in Plymouth.

"We are deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of Janine Arsenault. Janine was a beloved member of the Southcoast Health family, serving the community as a clinical technician in the St. Luke’s Hospital Emergency Department since 2002. The staff of the Emergency Department at St. Luke’s deal with extremely difficult events on a daily basis and are a strong, tight-knit unit as a result. They, in particular, have been devastated by Janine’s passing, and have been meeting individually and in small groups with leadership throughout the day. We are providing additional counseling to staff on an as-requested basis, as well."
