South Station Could Bear Dukakis Name

A proposal before Beacon Hill would name the transportation hub at South Station in honor of former governor Michael Dukakis. The House passed the amendment Wednesday. As governor in the 70s and 80s Dukakis was known for taking the Green Line to work. The 80-year-old Brookline resident has a long-standing interest in public transportation policy.
