After nearly a week of constant "Deflate Gate" talk in the media, it seems sources have learned that there may be no repercussions at the end of this saga.

According to offthemonster.com, sources are saying the NFL will be making the announcement that there will be no penalties, suspensions or fines to the Patriots because there simply isn't any proof that this happened.

Earlier reports pointed out that all the footballs passed inspection by officials before the game and both Belichik and Brady spoke with the press on the issue yesterday denying involvement, so because there is no proof...there will be no consequences.

The site is quick to point out that that doesn't mean the footballs weren't tampered with, it just means the NFL can't prove it and so they can't punish anyone for it. They say to expect an announcement by the weekend and that even though the NFL hopes to have new evidence into this controversy, they don't expect any to show up.
