Son Of Boston Cop Arrested for Plotting Terror Attacks

The son of a Boston police captain is facing charges for allegedly plotting an ISIS-inspired terrorist attack.

The Justice Department says Alexander Ciccolo of Adams was arrested on July 4th for unlawful possession of several guns.

The 23-year-old is also accused of planning to set off a pressure cooker bomb similar to the ones used in the Boston Marathon bombing. Ciccolo is the son of Captain Robert Ciccolo, who was one of the first responders at the marathon bombing.

Authorities say they also found several partially built Molotov cocktails at the son's home. He's scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
