Someone Has It In For Parking Meters

Someone really has a problem with parking meters in one city in Kansas. Police in Lawrence report a thief is cutting the heads off meters. Authorities believe the meter bandit is using a pipe cutter or similar tool to saw off at least five meters. The loss is more than just the quarters in the meters. The meters cost $800 to replace, double that for a dual meter. Lawrence police are hoping someone will see something or know something and call 911.
