Mass. Social Workers Call For Higher Minimum Wage

Massachusetts social workers descended upon Beacon Hill Monday, calling for a boost to the state's minimum wage. The current minimum is 8-dollars-an-hour, giving a full-time worker a salary of about 16-grand. A bill before lawmakers would increase the minimum to 11-an-hour as of July 2015.
