Those who race bait for political or financial gain are in panic mode over Jussie Smollett. This is just another case that has backfired on those who hustle victimization with the narrative that Donald Trump is an evil racist and a homophobe, and that his MAGA hat-wearing minions are the devil's children.

Sorry, Hollywood, but Jussie Smollett was not attacked by white MAGA hat-wearing thugs who carried bleach and a noose while yelling "This is MAGA country." In fact, Jussie Smollett, it appears, was not attacked at all. How pathetic.

It has only been about a month since the MAGA hat-wearing kids from Covington Catholic High were falsely accused of attacking an elderly Indian at the Lincoln Memorial. They were scorched by the left for their white privilege and Trump-inspired arrogant smirks. Turns out the kids did nothing wrong and the Indian is a fake Vietnam vet who actually went AWOL three times during the war while fixing refrigerators stateside. Whoopsie!

The Trump deranged were certain that the Smollett case was the real thing. Gotcha now, Trump, and all your little MAGettes!

Ah, wrong.

The Smollett case is so damaging to those who have attempted to paint Trump and his followers as racists that they have actually had to come out and demand action be taken—against Smollett.

The Reverend (ahem) Al Sharpton is demanding that Smollett face "accountability to the maximum" if it is proven that he lied about the alleged incident.

Black civil rights activist Najee Ali says Smollett should be arrested and prosecuted saying Smollett's action could have sparked a "race war."

Funny thing is that both men are right for a change. But when you make too many false accusations, your credibility takes a bruising and after a while, people stop listening to you. Hey, maybe this will shut the Hollywood crowd up for a while. Doubt it.

These are tough times for those whose notoriety and bank accounts depend upon racial unease. Unless a left-wing minority is actually attacked by a MAGA kid soon, Sharpton just might have to get a real job.
