Small Fire at Normandin Middle School in New Bedford

A small fire in a trash bin Monday morning caused the evacuation of the Normandin Middle School in New Bedford.

The fire occurred in a second floor rest room trash bin and was put out before fire officials arrived. It resulted in no damage to the building and the cause is under investigation.
