His friends soon found the man unconscious, and efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. He was transported to St. Luke's Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The man was a known heroin user.

Three men and two women were treated for suspected overdoses in the city from Thursday morning into Friday. They ranged in age from 27 to 41 years old. Four were treated with Narcan, with one gaining consciousness on their own. All were transported to St. Luke's Hospital.
