The Summer Reading Program, "Build a Better World!," will begin at the Millicent Library (45 Center St.) in Fairhaven on Wednesday, June 21.

According to South Coast Today.com, the summer program welcomes children of all ages, from babies to teenagers.

Sign Up Day will be held on Wednesday, June 21 in the downstairs Auditorium/Meeting Room from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Registrants will be able to pick up a reading log and other information about the program, and will also have the opportunity to choose a free book for a prize.

Summer Reading programs include Tuesday morning story time for all ages, Jackson Gillman’s "Songs and Stories for a Small Planet," the Fire Department’s annual visit on July 20, Daisy D. Dots the clown, and Dr. Toby Dills.

Events will be posted and updated on the "Events" tab on the library’s home page.  If you are unable to sign up on June 21, you may sign up in the library anytime before the Teddy Bear Parade on Aug. 2.
