New Bedford Police are investigating a shooting incident Friday night at Elm and Chancery Streets in the West End.

Investigators say a car was struck in the left rear section near the tail light. The vehicle was occupied by two people but neither were hurt.

Police tell WBSM News, they received a shot-spotter activation around 9:15pm.
