Lately, I have found myself on a shopping spree for music at the used record and compact disc shops in our area.

I know that I could buy any of the albums I want online and for a lot less money, but I enjoy the experience of browsing in the shops and stumbling across different artists and records. I found good stuff at Max J Records in Fairhaven, Purchase Street Records in New Bedford, and Newbury Comics in Dartmouth.

I picked up the following:

Bruce Springsteen: The River, Born to Run, and Nebraska

The Doors: Morrison Hotel and The Doors

Guns and Roses: Appetite for Destruction

Skid Row: Skid Row

Eric Clapton: Eric Clapton's Rainbow Concert

Tom Petty: Damn the Torpedoes

Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young: Deja Vu

Ozzy Osbourne: Blizzard of Ozz

AC/DC: Back in Black

Christopher Cross: Christopher Cross

Jimmy Buffett: Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes
