Shoplifting Suspect Arrested At Target In Dartmouth

Dartmouth Police apprehend a shoplifting suspect outside the Target Department Store off State Road.  According to Detective Kyle Costa, police were called to the store on Monday to assist in the apprehension of a suspect.  When police arrived, they spotted a female suspect running into a wooded area just west of the building.  Following a brief chase, the suspect, Rebecca Byron of Westport was caught.  Byron was charged with larceny of property valued over $250.  Police did not identify the items that were taken.
