Bristol County Sheriff Thomas M. Hodgson is down south this weekend discussing immigration reform and getting a firsthand look at U.S. Border Patrol activities.

Hodgson traveled to McAllen, Texas Friday and spoke with Sheriffs from across the country about their important role in achieving legitimate immigration reform.

Today he plans to meet with members of the Border Patrol and Rangers at the Mexico border and participate in aerial and maritime surveillance.

He will also meet with Texas Border Patrol volunteers and present them with a plaque recognizing their contributions to border security.
