During his tenure as Interim Superintendent of the New Bedford School District, Michael Shea worked in his old stomping grounds, the Administration Building on County Street that once was New Bedford High School.

Now serving as Interim Superintendent for Dartmouth Public Schools, Shea is making good on an initiative to restore the auditorium in the old high school.

Speaking on WBSM's "Taylor Cormier Show", Shea says he saw the potential when he toured the auditorium that has fallen into disrepair.

Shea says close to $1 million is needed to completely restore the hall, and is looking for membership to the New Bedford High School Alumni Association. If you're interested in getting involved, email Shea at OldNBHSAuditorium@gmail.com.
