Seekonk Police Find Burglary Suspect

Seekonk Police say they have found the person they were seeking in connection with a series of burglaries.

Police released a photo of this individual to media outlets, and then received a tip identifying the man as 27-year-old James Stanzione.

While on their way to interview a potential witness on Monday detectives spotted a vehicle that had been linked to Stanzione traveling on Taunton Ave. in Seekonk.

After pulling over the car they spoke with the female driver they learned the suspect was in an apartment in East Providence, R.I.

Stanzione was located at the apartment and then taken into custody.

Police say Stanzione has pending arrest warrants in Rhode Island and was arrested as a fugitive from justice.

At this time charges will be pending for the Seekonk burglaries and police say there may be forthcoming charges from other communities as well.
