A Seekonk man is facing drug charges following his arrest on Wednesday.

Police Chief Craig Mace says Seekonk Police with assistance from the Southeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (SEMLEC) Detectives Anti Crime Unit executed a search and arrest warrant at 49 Miller St.

Mace says the search resulted in the discovery of packaged cocaine, heroin and marijuana.

Items consistent with the packaging and distribution of illegal narcotics were found as well.

Following the search and seizure 56-year-old George Gomes was arrested and charged with the following criminal offenses:

- Distribute, Manufacture, or Possess with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (Heroin)
Subsequent Offense

- Distribute, Manufacture, or Possess with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance (Cocaine)

- Distribute, Manufacture, or Possess with Intent to Distribute a Class D Substance (Marijuana)
Following his arrest he was then transported to Taunton District Court for arraignment.
