Seekonk Child Rapist Sentenced

Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter announced Friday that a 42-year-old Seekonk man was sentenced to serve time in prison after being convicted of raping a young female child.

Michael Badger was sentenced in Fall River Superior Court to 15-20 years in state prison to be followed by 10 years of supervised probation.

As part of his sentence, Badger must register as a sex offender, undergo sex offender counseling while in prison, and have no future contact with children. Badger was also ordered to stay away from the victim and her mother.
