Wareham Police have made a second arrest in connection with a house break earlier this week.

According to police, 34-year-old Thomas Clancy of East Wareham was arrested Thursday, and charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime and malicious destruction of property for an incident reported at 87 Mayflower lane Tuesday.

Clancy is the second man to be arrested in connection with the break-in, following the arrest of 25-year-old Joseph Tavares, also of Wareham.

Detectives were also able to connect Clancy to a separate break-in on King Drive on February 1st, where a vehicle was stolen.

Clancy was arraigned Friday in Wareham District Court in both cases.
