NEW BEDFORD — Members of the New Bedford Narcotics Unit made an arrest and took Fentanyl off the street Monday following an investigation into a Fentanyl distribution service out of 160 Summit Street.

Detectives executed a search warrant at the location. As a result of the search, detectives located four bags of Fentanyl, a small amount of cocaine, a digital scale, packaging materials and more than $150 in cash.

Tyson Robert Galvin, 32, of 160 Summit Street, New Bedford, was charged with possession of Fentanyl to intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, resisting arrest and on a warrant.

The arrest was made at 7:11 Monday evening.
