Seafood Expo North America Is This Week In Boston

The New Bedford seafood processing industry will be well represented this week at Seafood Expo North America in Boston.

The conference runs through Wednesday. Thousands of seafood buyers and suppliers from around the world attend the event to meet, network and do business.

More than a dozen New Bedford-area firms are attending the exposition hoping to do business with those buyers. Among those local firms attending will be Mariner Seafood and Atlantic Red Crab.

The exposition is sponsored by the National Fisheries Institute and runs through Wednesday at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
