Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani says U.S. Sen. Scott Brown has kept his promise to be an independent and bipartisan voice in the U.S. Senate.  Giuliani joined Brown for a leg of his campaign bus tour on Friday, stopping in Boston's heavily-italian North End neighborhood. Giuliani, a Republican, praised Brown as someone who could work with Democrats and Republicans, liberals and conservatives.

He also said Democrat Elizabeth Warren was so far to the left, she's ``fallen off the cliff.''  In a phone call to WBSM's "More Than Just Talk" program, Brown says he's not concerned about recent polls showing Warren ahead.

Warren had several campaign stops on Friday including a get-out-the-vote rally in Lowell. She also picked up the endorsement of several mayors around Massachusetts, including Mayor Jon Mitchell in New Bedford.
