Read his lips. "I am very sorry, it's the situation I found myself in," Thamsanqa Jantjie told a South African newspaper about the fake sign interpretation he gave while special guests spoke at Nelson Mandela's memorial. Jantjie claims to be a schizophrenic and told authorities he had "an attack" while on stage. The fake interpreter flapped his hands making gestures that meant nothing for the most part. He said his episode was triggered by the pressure he was under or the happiness he felt at being part of such a global momentous occasion. "I tried to control myself and not show the world what was going on." Many questions are still out there about clearance, security and how someone like this could end up just inches away from the president. Your thoughts?
