State officials continue to investigate the ongoing scandal at a state crime lab, where as many as 34,000 drug samples may have been altered or manipulated by a chemist. That chemist, Annie Dookhan, is now under investigation by the Attorney General's office. Officials say the chemist may have mishandled as many as 4,000 Bristol County drug cases. District Attorney Sam Sutter tells WBSM News, his office is already planning a response.

Sutter says he and other prosecutors are planning to ask state government for more resources to pay for the additional legal work.
