This weekend's sales tax free weekend in Massachusetts was a success. Shoppers took advantage of savings at discount stores, appliance stores, home improvement businesses and furniture stores among others. An actual dollars and cents count won't be available until later today once the weekend sales are totalled up but all in all it appeared to be another successful tax free weekend.
