Route 140-Route 6 Intersection Hearing Draws Crowd
About 50 area residents gave state transportation officials an earful Tuesday as plans for a re-design of the Route 140-Route 6 intersection in New Bedford were presented.

The project is still in a design stage, with further review by state and city engineers expected following Tuesday’s input meeting. The estimated price tag is two-point-nine million dollars, and construction is expected to be put out for bid next spring.
