Rosh Hashana, Attacks on American Embassies and How To Dispose of Prescription Drugs

My blog today is a combination of best wishes, public service and your thoughts on an issue.

Let me start by wishing all of our Jewish friends a blessed, healthy and peaceful New Year! A joyous Rosh Hashana!

The other night, I was at my local pharmacy picking up a prescription when the person in front of me asked the pharmacist how to properly dispose of unused and old prescriptions. All he told her was NOT to flush them down the toilette because of environmental concerns. So, as a public service, please spread the word that two sites will be set up to dispose of all prescription drugs on September 29th. One will be at the New Bedford Police Headquarters on Rockdale Ave. from 10 am to 2 pm. The other disposal site will be at the Mattapoiset Police Station on Rt. 6 from 9 am to 2 pm.

And finally, many countries cannot protect our State Department personnel adequately. Against their wishes, do you favor pulling our people out and shutting down embassies near the anti-American riots?
