The first half of the season hasn't gone so well for the Boston Celtics, but there is still a lot of basketball to play. So which Rajon Rondo does Boston need to show up?

The Celtics were able to snap their four game skid against the Indiana Pacers on Friday night with a 94-75 win. In that game Rajon Rondo had 18 points and 7 assists. It is obvious that when Rondo is on his game, the Celtics win. The question is if that 'game' is him as a big scorer, or him as a guy who delivers assist after assist.

In the last three games that the Celtics played (two were losses), Rondo was two different players. In a 118-96 loss to Sacramento, Rondo only had 2 points, but handed out 10 assists. Rondo also had 10 assists in a 93-83 loss to Memphis. He would also put up 11 points. Then you have the Friday night win over Indiana.

When Rondo isn't aggressive on the offensive end, the Celtics tend to struggle. He can't do this on his own. The other Celtics players also need to be aggressive. If Boston wants a shot in the playoffs, they'll need to play like they did against the Pacers - great defense and aggressive shooting.
