Rochester Police responded to a single car roll over Tuesday night just north of Neck Road. Police say the car rounded a slight curve in the road, then ran off the road, became airborne, sheared off a telephone pole and rolled over, ejecting two of three passengers.

Three unidentified men from Middleboro were in the car and two of them were taken to Rhode Island Hospital while a third was airlifted to Mass General with serious injuries.

Rochester Police Chief Paul Magee said it was a violent high speed crash and the vehicle involved was completely destroyed. Power was out in the area of Neck Road while NSTAR waited for the car to be removed and Neck Road was closed for six hours while the accident reconstruction team investigated the accident.
