Robbery At Royal 7 Food And Deli

New Bedford Police are investigating after a store was robbed on Sunday night.

Detective Captain Steven Vicente says three men walked into the Royal 7 Food and Deli at 606 Summer Street around 8:40 pm. and demanded money.

A 26-year-old store clerk was struck with the butt of a handgun during the robbery and the suspects took some cash before fleeing the scene.

The suspects were all wearing black hooded sweatshirts and jeans and had bandanas covering their faces.

They were last seen running north on Summer Street towards Adams Street.
