Robbers Try Again

New Bedford Police say they believe two men who tried to rob a business early Sunday morning returned and robbed that same business Tuesday morning.

Detective Captain Steven Vicente says two men tried to rob the Sunoco Station at Phillips Rd. and Acushnet Ave. around 1:30 a.m. Sunday but they were unsuccessful and ended up leaving with nothing.

Vicente says it's believed those same men returned and robbed the same business of merchandise early Tuesday morning.
