330,000 Rival brand griddles are being recalled by Walmart because it was discovered that they pose an electrical shock hazard.

According to WCVB 5, the shock hazard occurs when the heating element inside the griddles crack, which can lead to water getting inside the cracks while it is plugged in.

The griddles were sold nationwide for about $20 in Walmart stores and online between July 2015 and December 2015.

The Rival brand electric griddles that are being recalled are those with the model number XJ-14207.

The griddles are black in color and measure 20 inches long by 10.5 inches wide. "Walmart" and the model number are printed on a label molded into the bottom of the griddle.

So far, there have not been any injuries or incidents reported.

Consumers who do have Rival XJ-14207 griddles are advised to unplug and stop using their griddles and return them to Walmart for a refund.
