Just a few short days after the tragedy in Newtown, CT another Connecticut community is on lock down after reports of a suspicious person.

Update 12:13pm - The cops have given the all clear on the situation in Ridgefield, CT. CBS News reports that after a search, the police have found no dangerous presence.

ABC 7 in New York City reports that a suspicious person was seen near the Branchville train station, which is right near Branchville Elementary school. That has prompted a lock down of the schools, and community.

This is the statement from the school:

The Ridgefield Police have notified us that the Ridgefield and Redding Public Schools are currently under lock down due to a suspicious character in the Branchville area. Local and State Police are on the scene to investigate. As a safety precaution, Ridgefield Academy has also gone into lock down and has a police presence on campus. We will provide additional information as it is available.
