So, the Massachusetts power bunch is in a bunge over the Trump Administration's reversal of an Obama-era edict that forced schools to allow boys into girls locker rooms, bathrooms and gym showers.

Obama last year issued an executive order that allowed students to use the privies of their choice as long as they said they identified with the sexual orientation that the facilities were designed to accommodate and not with what is on their birth certificates.  This was a kiss to the transgender community...all .01 percent of the population.  School districts that refused to cooperate risked losing federal education aid.  Trump reversed the executive order yesterday.  Thank God, sanity prevailed.

Before Obama thrust this foolishness upon us, the Massachusetts Legislature, led by Attorney General Maura Healy and supported by Governor Charlie Baker, passed it's own version of a transgender law that allows guys to tinkle with your six year old daughter and your grandma, provided they are channeling their inner GaGa that day.  We're told it's a matter of civil rights.  Ironic isn't it that when we create laws to satisfy special interest groups we almost always violate someone else's rights, but who cares about that.

The Massachusetts power set is so beside itself that Trump reversed the intrusive Obama order that it actually worked today.  Lawmakers scurried to denounce the move.  Healy and Baker expressed profound disappointment as did the Legislative Leadership.  Why, Healy even invited Trump to visit Massachusetts so that he can understand for himself the needs of the transgender community.

I suspect with the looney left spewing nauseating garbage at the new administration at every turn it will be some time before President Trump will visit Massachusetts, if at all.  Too bad too, since we really could use some federal help with a number of projects including the beleaguered fishing industry and brownfield relief, to name a couple.
