Residents Seek Relief at Foreclosure Prevention Workshop
Many New Bedford residents were given a second chance during a Foreclosure Prevention Workshop held at the Whaler Banquet and Conference Center Wednesday.

Those in danger of having their homes foreclosed upon met with their lenders including Bank of America, Citibank, GMAC, J.P. Morgan Chase, Homeward Residential, and Wells Fargo.
Jacqui Pina of the New Bedford branch of Neighborhood Housing Services tells WBSM News there’s solace even for those who aren’t able to find a way out.

Many were able to renegotiate the terms of their loans face to face with their lenders.
