Residents Can Have Their Say in Upcoming Congressional Debate

Southcoast residents can start thinking of questions for the 9th Congressional District candidates, as the region gears up for a debate at UMass Dartmouth. The Southcoast Alliance is sponsoring the August 30 debate between Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter and Congressman Bill Keating, but wants to hear what the public is concerned about. Southcoast Alliance Chairman Craig Dutra tells WBSM News all of the big Southcoast issues will be a topic of debate.

Residents can attend the Community Forum on Tuesday, August 21st at 6pm at the UMass School of Law's Moot Courtroom, ready with questions they want asked of the candidates.
