Republicans Nominate Charlie Baker

Charlie Baker got the most votes at yesterday Republican state convention and will be the party's nominee for Governor. Conservative tea party member Mark Fisher missed receiving enough votes to force a GOP primary.

Fisher missed the 15 percent threshold by less than half a percentage point.

Baker was the Republican nominee for governor in 2010 , but he lost  to Democratic Gov. Deval Patrick.
