Reports: New York City Marathon Cancelled

Reports are coming n that after much outcry, Mayor Bloomberg has in fact postponed the marathon that was to be held on Sunday.

Many were outraged that the City wasn't going to cancel the annual event due to hurricane Sandy, but now it is official.

MSNBC tweeted that the Mayor's office has cancelled the race. The Associated Press as also made the announcement via twitter.
