According to a report from the Sporting News, it appears the latest off-season decision made by the Boston Celtics is to bring back Gerald Green, who they drafted back in 2005.

Green has bounced around the league since leaving Boston back in 2007, as pat of the deal to acquire Kevin Garnett from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

In nine NBA seasons, has played for eight teams. He also spent two years of his pro career playing in Russia.

Last season with the Miami Heat, the former 18th overall pick averaged 8.9 points per game in 69 games. His best season came back during the 2013-14 campaign, when he averaged 15.8 points in all 82 games for the Phoenix Suns.
