After sitting out the entirety of his team's preseason Week 1 win over the Washington Redskins, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is reportedly expected to play in their second game Thursday night.

As the Pats welcome the Philadelphia Eagles to town for a Super Bowl LII showdown, ESPN Patriots Reporter Mike Reiss claims that he's been told Brady is expected to suit up and play.

According to a Reiss tweet, there is even the possibility of Brady playing deep into the first half. With a hobbled and somewhat-new receiving corps at his disposal, it would make sense for Brady to see a good deal of time to work with them in game situations.

The game can be seen on CBS, starting at 7:30 PM.
