Renovation Of Governor’s Digs On Tap

Governor Deval Patrick is moving boxes out of his office to make way for a nine-million-dollar renovation.  Over the course of seven months, crews will open up the lobby to restore the original Charles Bulfinch design.

The public will have new access to the balcony that overlooks Beacon Street.  It's part of a 110-million historic renovation of the State House expected to start in January.
