One man has been taken into custody after an hours-long standoff in Rehoboth this morning. No injuries were reported as the scene unfolded and finally came to a conclusion around 11:30 this morning.


ORIGINAL STORY (10:24AM) - Police are currently engaged in a standoff with an armed man in Rehoboth.

Multiple reports indicate the man has barricaded himself inside the Cumberland Farms at Rt 44 and Rt 118 in Rehoboth, and has threatened to blow up the building.

The building was evacuated, and all employees are accounted for.

Witnesses say around 6:30 this morning the man in his 40s began shouting on his phone and pulled out a gun, and started to pour gasoline on the ground saying he was going to blow up the gas station. The gas lines have been shut off.
