The Red Sox will hold a special ceremony Sunday night to observe the anniversary of the Boston Marathon tragedy. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. Eastern before Boston's 7:05 game against the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park.

The Sox will pay tribute to the victims of last year's deadly bombings as well as the heroes that helped save countless lives. The University of Massachusetts marching band and Boston Pipers Society will perform the National Anthem, and Boston Police and Massachusetts State Police will carry the colors.

The Red Sox will also begin a new Patriots' Day tradition for their annual Monday matinee. The team will wear jerseys that say "Boston" across the front instead of Red Sox when they close out the series with the O's. The Sox wore those same jerseys in their first home game after the bombings last season.  (Metro Networks Inc)
