It was a tough Saturday afternoon in Toronto for the Boston Red Sox. They were shutout by the Blue Jays 5-0.

The Red Sox had a very rough Saturday, only notching two hits against Toronto's pitching staff. Blue Jays' starter JA Happ went just over five innings, and threw one hitter and struck out six.

It wasn't just the offense that was hurting for the Sox, starting pitcher John Lackey left the game in the fifth inning after he re-injured his arm. The last time Lackey pitched was 17-months ago. Before the injury Lackey had thrown a fastball of 94 miles per hour, and was looking impressive in his return.

The Red Sox will face the Blue Jays again on Sunday night, from the Rogers Centre.
